A.      PROBLEM

·         Land or rice fields are changed into buildings => unbalance environment

B.      CAUSES

·         Increases population

·         In cases where agricultural land conversion cannot be controlled properly or supplemented by appropriate policies

·         Give more benefits for business field

C.      CONSEQUENCES

·         Unbalance environments => global warming

·         Lack of food =>importing more food

·         The food more expensive

·         Impact in human => lack of nutrition, malnutrition, hunger and possible starvation

D.      EXAMPLES

·         Rice field in DIY province has been decrease

·         Conservation Asahan Regency, North Sumatra

E.       SOLUTION

·         Turn threatens national food security

·         To support and protect farmers and maintain the function of farming land

·         Relocating existing industrial areas
